A celebrated harmonica teacher as well as player, New York native and longtime Mississippi resident Adam Gussow has been “kicking and stomping” for more than fifteen years now. Gussow is known around the world thanks to his instructional website, ModernBluesHarmonica.com, the hundreds of free videos he has posted on YouTube, and his three-decade partnership with Harlem bluesman Sterling “Mr. Satan” Magee in the duo Satan & Adam.  Gussow is currently a professor of English and Southern Studies at the University of Mississippi and the author of seven books, including Mister Satan’s Apprentice:  A Blues Memoir.
