Resounding opening gala at the Dr. Ernst Hohner Concert Hall

The World Harmonica Festival 2025 in Trossingen will kick off on Wednesday, 29 October with a top-class concert evening. Visitors can look forward to a musical programme full of virtuosity and diversity in the festive setting of the opening ceremony at the Dr. Ernst Hohner Concert Hall.

The main act of the evening will be the internationally renowned HOHNERKLANG orchestra, which has stood for harmonic excellence and orchestral sonority at the highest level for decades. The orchestra will thrill audiences with impressive arrangements that showcase the harmonica in all its diversity.

After the concert in the main hall, the duo Ptaszek & Bužma from the Czech Republic will entertain the audience at the entrance to the hall with their extraordinary, energetic sounds and absolutely captivating enthusiasm.

In the small hall, guests can also look forward to Chinese harmonica virtuoso Tian Long Li, who will showcase the full range of his instrument with technical brilliance and musical sensitivity. He will be accompanied by Thomas Förster, Frank Denzinger and Arpi Ketterl.

The World Harmonica Festival, which takes place only every four years in Trossingen – the world capital of the harmonica – brings together artists and enthusiasts of this popular instrument from all over the world.
