We are delighted to announce that Rainy Liu has been officially certified as a HOHNER Service Technician!

Rainy’s passion for the harmonica began at the age of 15, during his first year of high school. Just one year later, he started modifying his own instruments — his very first project was repairing and adjusting a diatonic harmonica with an A pitch issue on the 2-draw reed.

Since attending the World Harmonica Festival in 1997, Rainy has been performing customized tunings and modifications on both diatonic and chromatic harmonicas. Over the past decade, he has provided harmonica service and maintenance for his students and friends, earning a reputation for precision, dedication, and love for the instrument.

We warmly welcome Rainy Liu to the international HOHNER Service Technician community and look forward to his continued contributions to harmonica craftsmanship and education.
