    Let’s get started

    Let’s begin with the good news: You can get going right away with the HOHNER XS. It has never been this easy to make music with an accordion. Learn more about what goes where. Just watch these short videos and you will be well prepared to play your first scales.

    QUICK START GUIDE

    1. When taking the instrument out of the Gigbag, pick up the instrument using only the two short sides and lift it out. Slip your left hand through the hand strap on the bass section and hold the comfort chest pad using your right hand.
    2. Rest the instrument on the ground, a table, or another flat surface.
    3. First help the child to slip into the HOHNER Click ’n Play straps. The length of the carrying straps is infinitely variable. When putting on the accordion, make sure that the child’s left hand goes through the hand strap on the bass section to stabilize the instrument. Click the instrument into the casket at the bottom, and then secure the Loxx-lock on the top side of the accordion.
    4. When removing the instrument, make sure that the left hand is slipped through the bass strap, while the right hand unlocks the Loxx-lock.

    Now it’s time to get playing. Have fun!
