The Varia One was specifically developed for children and young people who want to learn to play a convertor accordion. Thanks to its compact design, low weight and ergonomic construction, it supports a natural playing posture and makes getting started with convertor playing easier.

The Varia One was specifically developed to make the start easier for young musicians. Its compact design and reduced weight make the instrument more comfortable to carry and easier to play, without compromising the musical possibilities of a convertor accordion.

The number of bellows folds was developed together with a large number of experienced accordion teachers and tested in practice with children. This allows the available movement range to be used optimally, while the instrument remains lighter and more compact at the same time.

Traditional bellows strap can often be challenging for children. The new bellows strap of the Varia One differs slightly from conventional push-button solutions. Practical experience shows that children are already familiar with comparable mechanisms from everyday situations and can therefore operate the bellows strap intuitively. In addition, the flexible bellows strap can support teachers in guiding students towards controlled and correct bellows handling. The bellows strap is made from a high-quality material that is particularly resistant to UV radiation, environmental influences and ageing.

The keyboard was specifically developed for smaller hands. The key travel and pressure were adapted to the needs of children. This allows children to play the keys more easily and comfortably. It supports an ergonomic hand position and makes starting easier without compromising the development of proper playing technique.

Modern high-performance plastics are used for selected components. They provide a natural playing feel, operate reliably and are characterized by reduced noise generation. These materials are particularly lightweight, durable and resistant. They have also been used in many other technical applications for decades and help reduce the overall weight of the instrument.

The newly developed convertor mechanism enables the particularly compact design of the Varia One. At the same time, the mechanism operates smoothly and ensures low weight, a robust construction and a service-friendly design.

Yes. Although the Varia One was specifically developed for children and young people, it can of course also be played by adults. Due to its compact design, the playing feel may initially seem slightly unfamiliar to players who are used to larger instruments.
