    In the olden days, music was not just a fun pastime, but also an important means of communication. Travelling folk would learn the latest news on their stops, and turn them into songs to better remember. Of course, some of these stories might have been slightly adjusted to better suit the bard’s overall tales – but who knew for sure, if the dragon on the other side of the country had actually been slain or not?

    An important part of this archetypal form of folk music was the accordion. A light weight and big scale made it the perfect travelling companion.
