Latin music is incredibly passionate, both in respects to the lyrical content and the driving rhythms. It is also incredibly popular, especially in the traditional varieties, and expresses the alegría de vivir and emotions of a whole people better than anything else.

An important instrument for Latin music is the diatonic accordion. It’s so important, in fact, that a whole genre of traditional Latin folk was named after it: the música típica.
