Raised in the same town as British blues legend John Mayall, it was inevitable that Liam Ward would end up playing the harmonica.

Liam is a winner of the National Harmonica League Player of the Year and has been described by Harmonica World as "endlessly inventive". His harmonica style is a blistering blend of traditional and unconventional, producing a modern sound that is truly his own.

Liam is also one of the world’s most loved teachers, with a popular online harmonica school at www.LearnTheHarmonica.com. He releases regular YouTube videos which have received millions of views.

Liam is constantly on the road, fronting The Liam Ward Band as well as playing with The Jake Leg Jug Band and many others. A passionate and distinctive bluesman, he is also a versatile session player and has recorded rock, pop, country, jazz and more for clients around  the world.
