Lin Jinfeng was born in Xianyou, Fujian Province, China, and has had strong interest in music and instruments since childhood. When he was young he was a famous harmonica player around his hometown. At university, he was a famous campus singer, after graduation, he became a professional singer. He won the first Min’nan1) Singer Grand Prix in 1989 and was known as "Min’nan Singer King". He is also the first mainland singer to sing "Win if you fight" on China Central Television (CCTV).
From childhood to present, he has been performing solo harmonica performances in different artistic performances, concerts, and television programs. He played harmonica in the famous Chinese TV dramas "Red Rock" and "Painted Soul".
Lin Jinfeng was not satisfied with his achievements in music and was admitted to the Performance Department of Beijing Film Academy for further studies in 1996. After graduation, he became a professional actor. Over the past 30 years, Lin Jinfeng has appeared in more than 50 TV series and 30 movies, until now many of his works have been popular on CCTV and local television stations. “Extracting character characteristics from life and enhancing oneself through art” is a true portrayal of his artistic life.
He has always had a dream to make a musical film which related to music and harmonica. It has been brewing in his mind, and have more opportunities to communicate with harmonica artists around of the world. Music makes people intoxicated! Wish the music be with us forever!
