    HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

    We use personal data to enable you to visit our website. In doing so, we rely on legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter GDPR). The data processing is necessary in this case, so that our web server can transmit the requested contents to your terminal. In detail, we collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server and which is technically necessary for us to display our website and offer you the appropriate language version of the website, i.e. IP address, directory protection user, date and time of the request, accesed page, protocols, status code, data volume, referer, user agent, accessed host name. We also use the data to show you locally relevant content. The IP addresses are stored anonymously (also applicable for IPv6 addresses). The anonymized IP addresses are stored for 60 days. Information on the directory protection user used is anonymized after one day.

    We also use personal data to respond to inquiries that you send us via our contact form or via the e-mail address info@HOHNER.de The data processing is necessary in this case in order to forward your inquiry to the responsible employee(s) and to answer it. In this respect, too, we have a legitimate interest in data processing (Art. 6 para. 1 f)GDPR). If you specify "United States of America" in the pull-down menu on the contact form, we will forward your inquiry to our sales partner in the USA, KHS America Inc. in certain cases. This transmission is necessary so that we can answer inquiries from this sales area locally and promptly. In this respect, too, we have a legitimate interest in data processing (Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR). If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our data protection officer.     We also use personal data in our community at https://my.HOHNER.de when you write and read contributions as a logged in user. In this case, data processing is necessary so that you can exchange your experiences with HOHNER musical instruments with other end customers, with HOHNER artists and with us and other users of the forum can see which topics you are interested in and how long you have been active in the forum and can send you messages via e-mail or web push.     At HOHNER CSHOP we use personal data when you open an optional customer account with us. Data processing is required in this case so that you can view and manage your orders. In this case we rely on your consent to the processing of data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR. Furthermore, we use your personal data so that we can process sales contracts for products ordered by you. We use logistics service providers to send you the ordered products. We use financial service providers to process payments. If you order products from us, we are authorised to process your data to fulfil the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 b) GDPR. Data processing is required in this case so that we can deliver the products to you and process the payment. If necessary, we also transmit data to financial and logistics service providers in third countries. In the case of a number of third countries, this transfer is permitted by the EU Commission's adequacy decisions. If this is not the case, we are entitled to process data in accordance with Art. 49 Para. 1 b) GDPR.

    When you shop at HOHNER CSHOP, we store your personal data until you delete your customer account or, in the case of a purchase without a customer account, until you request deletion.

    If you subscribe to the HOHNER newsletter, we use the information you provide in this form to stay in contact with you and to send you information on new products and marketing campaigns as well as current information on events. By clicking on the button "Subscribe" you agree to the processing of your personal data and the establishment of contact by e-mail for advertising and market research purposes by Hohner Musikinstrumente GmbH. You also confirm that you are over 16 years of age.

    Only your e-mail address is required. If you voluntarily provide further information, we will only use this information to address you personally in the newsletter.

    The legal basis for data processing is your consent in accordance with Article 6 para. 1 a) DS-GMO. Your data will be stored until your consent is revoked. You can revoke your consent at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the end of each newsletter or by sending an e-mail to info(at)hohner.de A revocation does not affect the legality of the data processing that has taken place up to that point.

    To send our newsletter, we send your data to MailChimp, a platform for marketing automation based in the USA. You agree to the transmission and data processing by MailChimp in accordance with the terms of use and data protection declaration of MailChimp. The legal basis is also your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR. As an appropriate guarantee, so-called standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 DSGVO have been concluded with this service provider.     We use MailChimp to evaluate when you access the newsletter and which hyperlinks you click (Open Tracking, Click Tracking). We use so-called web beacons, small invisible graphics, and redirection via MailChimp's servers. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interests, Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR.

    GOOGLE ANALYTICS

    It is important to us to design our website as optimally as possible and thus to make it attractive for our visitors. To do this, we need to know which parts of it reach our visitors and how. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. "("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are small text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site.     By visiting the website, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding subpage of our website.     GOOGLE TAG MANAGER

    This website uses the Google Tag Manager. This service allows website tags to be managed through an interface. The Google Tag Manager only implements tags. This means that no cookies are used and no personal data is collected. The Google Tag Manager triggers other tags, which in turn collect data if necessary. However, the Google Tag Manager does not access this data.     Facebook

    HOHNER and Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (Facebook) collectively process data within the meaning of Article 26 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when you visit our Facebook fan pages and interact with us or other Facebook users there.

    Through the function "Page Insights" [https://www.facebook.com/business/a/page/page-insights], Facebook provides us with page statistics, i.e. aggregated data about your use of our fan pages in the form of statistics about the reach of posts and videos, "Like" information, time on our page, etc. Facebook also allows us to collect and store information from you when you visit our fan pages. In addition, Facebook allows us to view aggregated information such as the gender, age, location, and language of the people who use our Fanpage based on the data we collect, as well as to specifically view the profiles of people who have interacted with our site, for example, by writing comments or clicking "Like".

    We can use this data to make our fan pages attractive and to adapt them to the interests of our site visitors. Legal basis for our data processing are our legitimate interests, Art. 6 Para. 1 f) GDPR.

In accordance with this agreement, Facebook is responsible for informing fanpage visitors about the collection of personal data in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR and for answering queries from affected parties in accordance with Articles 15-22 GDPR (so-called affected parties' rights).     YOUR RIGHTS

    You have the right to ask the data controller to confirm whether personal data concerning you are being processed; if this is the case, you have a right of access to this personal data and to the information specified in Article 15 of the GDPR. In accordance with Article 15(3) of the DS GMO, you have the right to obtain from the data controller a copy of the personal data which are the subject of the processing.

    According to Article 16 of the GDPR, you have the right to request the data controller to correct incorrect personal data concerning you without undue delay and to complete incomplete personal data.

    You have the right to request the data controller to erase personal data concerning you without undue delay, provided that one of the reasons specified in Art. 17 GDPR applies.

    You have the right to require the controller to restrict processing if one of the conditions set out in Article 18 GDPR is met.

    You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you from the data controller in a format outlined in Article 20 GDPR.

    You have the right to object at any time, for reasons relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, pursuant to Article 21 GDPR.

    If you have given your consent to the processing of your data, you can withdraw this at any time. A withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

    Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy under Article 77 of the DS GMO, you have the right of appeal to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State where you are staying, working or suspected of having infringed the GDPR, if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you is contrary to it. In the German Federal State of Baden-Württemberg, the responsible supervisory authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, P.O. Box 10 29 32, 70025 Stuttgart.
